Faith Baptist Church is an Independent, Fundamental, Baptist Church that stands on old-fashioned preaching, teaching and singing. We preach from the King James Bible and use hymnals during our song service.

We are very involved in our community. We believe that in order to be effective in reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ we must first reach out beyond our own walls into the community that God has placed us in! One way we do this is by being involved in the Mt. Rainier Visitor Association. We endeavor to be an active member that seeks to increase "traffic" in our area so that more visitors will come and see the beautiful Ashford area. The pastor as well as many members are part of our local volunteer fire department, Pierce County Fire District 23, and have earned many different national and international certifications. The pastor is a Chaplain with the Tacoma Pierce County Chaplaincy program and the Sheriff's Office. We have been involved in caring for our newest park -the Ashford County Park located just under a mile east of us. We have been involved in "emergency" projects and built handicap ramps for those in need. We operate a food/clothing bank to help those working families who need to stretch their budgets just a little further. We have also helped supply firewood to those in need during our cold months.
